Traffic Offenses

At Axelrod & Associates, we believe that a traffic ticket is always worth fighting. We get calls everyday from people who didn't take their traffic violation seriously or didn't think that their ticket would be reported to their home state or jurisdiction. The police pulled you over because they thought you represented a hazard to other drivers on the road. Believe it. They take traffic violations seriously, and so should you. Our firm does. It pays in many ways to fight your traffic violation. Like all states, South Carolina applies a point system for a moving violation. After receiving a certain number of points against your license in a twelve-month period, you can have your licensed revoked. And yes, this applies to visitors from out of state. The ticket WILL catch up to you. I know what harm a moving violation for driving with a suspended license, excessive speeding or reckless driving will do to your future. Besides increased insurance rates, the points against your license can lead to a suspended license and heavy fines.
