L. Allison Black is an associate attorney for Axelrod and Associates focusing her practice on Family and Probate Law. Allison is a native of the Grand Strand, having graduated first in her class from Carolina Forest High School in 2000. She attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

After serving as a paralegal in Horry and Georgetown Counties for several years, Allison attended the Charleston School of Law and graduated in 2016. During law school she completed her externship with the Charleston County Probate Court and dedicated pro bono hours serving as a visitor for Guardianship and Conservatorship cases in the Probate Court.

Allison serves as a Guardian ad Litem in both Family and Probate Court. She is a member of the Horry County Bar Association. She enjoys participating in community theatre and spending time with her dog, Maple.
