Andrew S. Johnson, Esq.

Andrew S. Johnson, Esq., is a probate and estate planning attorney at attorney at Axelrod & Associates. Andrew, a proud native of Horry County, South Carolina, received his formative education here, attending elementary, middle, and high school in Murrells Inlet. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, where his scholarly achievements earned him recognition on the President’s List and Dean’s List and membership in the organizations of Alpha Phi Sigma (National Honor Society for Criminal Justice) and Tau Sigma (National Honor Society).

Andrew then attained his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law in May 2022, where his academic prowess was recognized by his inclusion on the Dean’s List and the receipt of CALI Awards for being top of his class in Business Organizations and Depositions: Effective Strategies and Techniques. During his tenure at law school, Andrew participated in the Children’s Advocacy and Family Law Society, as well as the Criminal Law Society. Andrew also spent time shadowing a South Carolina District Court Judge while in the Judicial Observation and Experience Program.

Andrew enjoys his lifelong passion for martial arts in his leisure hours, practicing Muay Thai kickboxing, boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo. Andrew also enjoys time spent with his Fiancée, a fellow South Carolina lawyer, and he deeply fascinated by the mysteries of space.
