During this unprecedented time in our country, you can count on your attorneys at Axelrod & Associates, P.A. to remain vigilant. We would like our current and prospective clients to know we remain open for business at this time and continue to work diligently for our clients.
Our office hours will remain 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. during Monday through Friday while we continue to monitor and track changing governmental requirements. Please be assured we are stringently observing the recommendations of the CDC, WHO, our Governor and President so that we keep not only our own staff safe, but you and the public as well. We respect the uncertainty that comes with face-to-face meetings at this time and are more than happy to accommodate your requests for appointments or consultations to be held by phone. Simply call our office at 843-916-9300 and we will do whatever we can to meet your needs. We have taken all precautions necessary to ensure that our office remains as sanitary as possible.
Many of our local and state courts, as well as the South Carolina Workers Compensation Commission, have issued orders cancelling hearings and court appearances. If you have a question regarding your case and whether you are required to attend a scheduled hearing, please contact our staff immediately. If you had a matter cancelled by a court or the Commission, we will notify you as soon as the matter has been rescheduled.
In the event of a mandatory quarantine order, our office will close during that time as required. Please note that communication may be limited during such time and we ask for your patience in the event this should occur.
We have tremendous respect for everyone working in our community; from those of you working for our grocery stores, gas stations and utilities, to the first responders and those putting their own health on the line in the medical field. It is our sincere hope and belief that we will all get through this together.
